Four Tips for Parents

Read to your child every day. After each story follow-up with questions about the story to see how well the child has comprehended the information.

Have your child participate in self-help tasks such as dressing themself, brushing their own teeth, helping to pick out their own clothing, washing dishes, helping with cooking est.

3.

Plan to volunteer in your child’s class because you send the message that school is important and so you know what your child is learning.

4.

Complete educational activities with your child at home to help make a connection between school and home such as cutting/pasting, play-dough, counting, alphabet & shape games est.
