Natural Fall Tree

Materials Needed:

• 1 piece of butcher paper
• Variety of natural items collected from nature walk

Directions:

Take your children on a nature walk and collect a variety of nature items such as leaves, sticks, & pine cones. Provide a large butcher paper on the floor with a premade tree and have children take the items that were collected and glue them on the tree. This activity provides children with an understanding of fall and the changes that take place. Use this time to talk about the fall colors, and what they experienced during the nature walk.
