Put as many marbles as you can on the sensory table and include about two tongs. This activity helps to develop small motor development. Children are encouraged to see how many marbles they are able to pick up with the tongs. You can even incorporate counting by encouraging children to count how many marbles they pick up.
The other activity includes a variety of shapes with their names on them. Then glue magnets on the back. Encourage children to fish for shapes, talking about each one they catch, such as how many sides, color, and the difference between them.
