Sight Word Cards

Materials Needed:

• 1 Pack sentence strips
• Glue
• Scissors
• Variety of different pictures off the internet

Directions:

Cut sentence strips into medium pieces and write different sight words on them. Next to the word glue a picture onto the strip that supports the word.
Offering an activity such as this helps foster reading skills for children who are just beginning to read. Offering the pictures helps to support word recognition and spelling based on the picture connection.
