Tiny Wins Jar
How to Use the Activity
Place a jar in the classroom or workspace. Throughout the week, write down small victories on slips of paper and place them inside.
Examples:
“A child made a new friend.”
“Circle time went smoothly.”
“I stayed calm during a difficult moment.”
“A parent thanked me today.”
At the end of the month, take time to read the notes back.
Why This Matters
Educators often focus so heavily on challenges that they overlook daily successes. This activity encourages reflection, gratitude, and recognition of meaningful progress happening throughout the classroom each day.
Closing Reflection
“Small moments of growth still deserve to be celebrated.”
