Find Your First Name Cross Word Puzzle

Materials Needed:

• 1 Sheet of Chart paper
• Different color sharpies

Directions:

Draw different squares on a chart paper. Then fill in your student’s name throughout the different squares. The squares that are left empty add additional letters to create a crossword puzzle. You can use different color markers to write the children’s names to help the names to stand out.

This activity helps children with letter, name recognition & beginning writing skills.
